Multiple options to make art fun for everyone!

Private art lessons offer a unique opportunity for students to grow creatively at their own pace in a supportive, one-on-one setting. These sessions are designed to meet each artist exactly where they are, whether they’re just starting to explore their creativity or ready to dive deeper into techniques and personal expression.

With individualized attention, students are free to ask questions, experiment, and build skills in a way that feels comfortable, safe and engaging. This personalized approach allows for a deeper understanding of artistic techniques while also encouraging creative risk-taking and self-discovery.

Private lessons also give students space to build confidence, not just in their artistic abilities, but in themselves. They learn that their ideas matter, their voice is unique, and their creativity is something to be proud of.

Whether you thrive in a quieter setting, want to explore specific interests, or could benefit from a more customized learning experience, private lessons can be a powerful tool to help you grow as both an artist and individual.

Group art lessons for children are more than just a fun activity, they’re a space for creativity, confidence, and connection to grow over time. In a group setting, children learn to express themselves through a variety of materials and projects while also developing important social skills like collaboration, encouragement, and sharing ideas.Regular attendance is especially important because creativity thrives with consistency. When children come to class each week, they build on skills and techniques, strengthen their artistic voice, and develop confidence in a supportive environment. They also become part of a creative community, forming friendships, learning from others, and feeling a sense of belonging that helps them thrive not just as artists, but as individuals.

Each lesson connects to the next, offering a rhythm and flow that helps children grow creatively and emotionally. The more consistently they come, the more they feel ownership over their work and pride in their progress. Art becomes not just something they do, but something they are part of.

Open Studio is a dedicated time each week for artists, especially teens, to work on their own projects in a quiet, supportive environment. For three hours a week, participants can bring their own materials, settle in, and fully immerse themselves in the creative process without distractions.

This uninterrupted time is incredibly valuable, particularly for teenagers who are developing their artistic voice and exploring their identities. Open Studio offers the freedom to experiment, reflect, and make meaningful progress on personal work at their own pace. It’s a break from structured assignments and a chance to take ownership of their creativity.

Having a consistent, welcoming space to create can help build discipline, boost confidence, and reduce stress. It’s also an opportunity to connect with other artists in a calm, respectful setting, quietly inspiring each other while staying focused on individual goals.

Whether preparing a portfolio, diving into a long-term piece, or simply carving out time for self-expression, Open Studio offers the space and support young artists need to thrive.

The Art Place will provide brushes, water/bowls, paper towels as needed. Open Studio participants are expected to bring all of their own paints, pastels, canvas, paper, etc. Participants are welcome to store their work and some art supplies at The Art Place.
